It’s taken a while but all the known bugs are fixed and there are HEAPS of upgrades. We’ve been asked about offering the ability to change the margins or the padding and then could we offer different borders and could we make it so the bullet style could change and could we allow changes to font color, face or size — the list goes on.
Every time we thought we were finished, someone would ask for something different. I know it’s a free plugin and if I’m honest I probably said once or twice, “Geez.. it’s free – do they think we have nothing to do but create something special for them?” Heh.. Honestly, it was only a fleeting moment when I wanted him to do something else for me.
It’s now possible to put links into your recipes and also add photos. This takes a bit of effort but it’s not difficult at all. This was an often requested change.

Hi, Maureen! I’ve been trying to get a recipe plug-in on my blog for months, but the folks at wordpress say: “Not allowed for security reasons.” (Unless you’re self-hosted.) Frankly, I don’t know if I’m self-hosted or not, lol. So until I figure that out, I appreciate you & Mr. O working on this tirelessly! Happy Spring!

Yes Ruby, my husband wrote Easy Recipe for me because there was nothing out there that was simple to use and got blogs on Google’s Recipe View. It takes several months but my recipes are now on Recipe View. Yay. Then Ziplist copied our format. It wasn’t the other way around as has been suggested. We were first.
Just saw that this was from August. Ha – that’s what I get for ignoring the update alerts on my WP dashboard! You didn’t mention it, but this update seems to have fixed a niggly problem I was having, which was the recipe card not saving without a ‘null’ value being entered into blank fields. Nice.
